Darwin's game

Overview:

Kaname Sudou, a high school student, gets an invitation to play Darwin's Game, a mobile game he has never heard of, from a classmate. But no sooner has he opened the application than a green snake materializes on his phone screen, bites his neck, and knocks him out. The school instructs him to take the remainder of the day off after he wakes up in the infirmary showing no indications of a snake bite. Despite being perplexed by what has transpired, he writes off the bizarre encounter as a hallucination and takes the train back home. Sadly, he utilizes the application once more as his curiosity gets the better of him.Kaname lets out a sigh of relief as he realizes that the application looks just like any other battle game and chooses to begin his first match. The happy surprise, though, is short-lived as his opponent from the game suddenly materializes in front of him and makes an attempt to pursue him with a knife. Kaname connects the dots as he scrambles for his life, realizing that Darwin's Game is a harsh struggle for survival rather than a typical game.
