Overview:

Koudo Ikusei Senior High School appears to be a utopia on the outside. It ranks highly in Japan and offers students an unmatched level of independence. But the situation is not perfect in reality. Only the top four classes—A through D—get preferential treatment; the other courses are ranked according to merit. Kiyotaka Ayanokouji attends Class D, which is the school's poorest division. There, he meets the reclusive Suzune Horikita, who feels she was mistakenly placed in Class D and is determined to get up to Class A.and the class idol Kikyou Kushida, who seems to be friendly and wants to befriend as many people as possible. Class rankings are not set in stone, but class membership is; students who perform better in lower-ranked classes can move up the ranks. Furthermore, there are no restrictions on the strategies that can be employed in Class D to advance. Can they overcome all the obstacles and become the best in this ruthless school?
