Overview:

Takao Akizuki, an aspiring shoemaker, chooses to forego class on a wet morning in Tokyo in order to draw patterns in a lovely garden. Here he meets Yukari Yukino, a stunning but enigmatic woman, for the first time. Takao stays in touch with Yukari during the rainy season, offering to make her new shoes. The two don't even realize that by spending time together, they are able to ease the troubles that are concealed in their hearts. But their personal problems haven't entirely vanished, and their partnership will be tested as the rainy season draws to a conclusion.
