Tokyo Ghoul

Overview:

Based on the best-selling supernatural horror manga by Sui Ishida, Tokyo Ghoul follows Ken Kaneki, a shy, bookish college student, who is instantly drawn to Rize Kamishiro, an avid reader like himself. But the greatest threat posed by these bloodthirsty savages is their dangerous ability to masquerade as humans and blend in with society. Tokyo has become a cruel and merciless city where vicious creatures called "ghouls" coexist alongside humans. But Rize is not who she seems to be, and this fateful encounter drags Kaneki into the murky depths of the ghouls' otherworldly realm. In a strange turn of events, the mysterious waitress Touka Kirishima saves Kaneki, and he starts living a new, covert existence as a half-ghoul, half-human who has to figure out how to fit into both civilizations.
