Overview:

Kousei Arima, the legendary pianist, is the human metronome; music follows his path. However, Kousei experiences a downward spiral following the death of his mother Saki Arima, which makes it impossible for him to hear the sound of his own piano. After two years, Kousei has not returned to the piano and has left his friends Tsubaki Sawabe and Ryouta Watari behind, along with his rivals and admirers. Kousei leads a dull life. But then he meets Kaori Miyazono, a stunning violinist, who upends his world and sends him on a quest to rediscover music, and everything changes. .. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, which is based on the manga series of the same name, tells the story of Kousei's rehabilitation as he learns that music is more than just playing every note precisely and that a single melody can bring in the crisp April spring air.
